Terms of Service
Effective April 14, 2026 ยท Last updated April 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at bellinghamconcrete.com and the informational and lead-capture services offered on it by Bellingham Concrete Contractors (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or submitting any form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
These Terms do not form a construction contract. A construction contract is created only when both parties sign a separate written agreement specifying scope, price, schedule, and warranty. Nothing on this website is a binding offer to perform work.
1. Informational Purpose
The content on this site, including blog posts, service descriptions, pricing ranges, area pages, and technical discussion (PSI specs, rebar spacing, permit timelines, code references, etc.), is provided for general informational purposes. It reflects our experience and judgment as of the publication or last-update date shown on each page.
Concrete construction is site-specific. Actual specifications for your project depend on soil conditions, slope, access, loading, local code amendments, supplier availability, and weather. Nothing on this site should be treated as a substitute for a site-specific written estimate, an engineer's stamped drawing where required, or the decisions of the City of Bellingham, Whatcom County, or other permitting authority.
2. No Guarantee of Results or Pricing
Pricing ranges shown on this site (for example, “$8–$12 per square foot” for a driveway) are based on our experience and prevailing 2025–2026 market rates in Whatcom County. They are not quotes. Your actual project cost will be determined only after a site walk and written estimate.
Case studies, recent-project examples, and completion times described in our content reflect past performance. Past results do not guarantee future results on a different site with different conditions.
3. Estimates and Lead Forms
When you submit a lead form, request a site walk, or send project photos, you are requesting that we prepare an estimate. A request is not an obligation on either side:
- You are not obligated to hire us.
- We are not obligated to accept every project. We may decline projects that fall outside our scope, are beyond our service area, conflict with existing scheduling, or require work we do not hold qualifications for.
If we prepare a written estimate for you, it is valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. After 30 days, pricing may change due to concrete, rebar, fuel, and labor market movement.
4. Warranty (Reference Only)
Our standard workmanship warranty is five (5) years, transferable to a subsequent property owner if you sell. The warranty covers defects in our workmanship and does NOT cover:
- Normal hairline shrinkage cracking (inherent to all concrete)
- Damage from vehicle impact, structural movement of adjacent buildings, tree root pressure, seismic events, or floods
- Damage from de-icing chemicals, power washing above 2,500 PSI, or other misuse
- Cosmetic changes from weathering, UV exposure, or staining
- Any work performed by a party other than Bellingham Concrete Contractors
The full warranty language is in your signed construction contract and controls over this summary.
5. Intellectual Property
The content on this site — including photos, written copy, illustrations, page layouts, and the arrangement of information — is owned by Bellingham Concrete Contractors or licensed to us. You may read, print, or share individual pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not:
- Republish substantial portions of our content on another commercial site
- Scrape the site to train AI models without permission
- Use our name, logo, license number, or photography in a way that implies affiliation or endorsement
- Mirror or clone the site
Fair use quotations with attribution and a link back are welcome. If you want to reproduce more than a paragraph for a commercial purpose, email [email protected].
6. External Links
This site links to third-party sources including NOAA, the American Concrete Institute, the City of Bellingham Permit Center, Whatcom County, FEMA, the Washington Department of Ecology, and others. Those links are provided to let you verify factual claims. We do not control or endorse the content of those external sites and are not responsible for changes to their content, availability, or policies.
7. User Submissions
If you submit photos, plans, or other content as part of an estimate request, you represent that you have the right to share it and grant us permission to use it internally to prepare the estimate and perform the work. If we later want to use your project in portfolio photography or a case study, we will ask your permission first.
8. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY WASHINGTON STATE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE WEBSITE ITSELF, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This disclaimer applies to the website. It does not limit our obligations under a signed construction contract, which has its own warranty and performance terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from your use of this website is limited to direct damages not exceeding one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, regardless of the legal theory.
Again, this limitation applies to website use. Our liability for construction work is governed by the signed contract, our insurance, and Washington state contractor law.
10. Indemnification
If your misuse of this website (for example, scraping content, attempting to breach security, or submitting false estimate requests) causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to indemnify us and cover reasonable legal costs.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any legal action arising from these Terms or from website use must be brought in Whatcom County Superior Court in Bellingham, Washington. For construction-contract disputes, the governing-law and venue terms in your signed contract control.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
