Our Story
Bellingham Concrete Contractors was founded in 2009 by Mike Patterson, a third-generation Whatcom County resident who grew up watching his father and grandfather work the trades in the Pacific Northwest. What started with small residential jobs in the Sehome neighborhood has grown into one of Whatcom County's most trusted concrete contractors.
By 2012, we had completed over 150 projects and added our first dedicated crew. By 2015, we expanded into commercial concrete work, taking on larger-scale projects that demanded the same precision and reliability our residential clients had come to expect.
Today, our team of 18 has completed over 1,200 projects across Bellingham and greater Whatcom County. We have invested in the expertise that sets us apart: soil testing, drainage planning, and weather-appropriate pour scheduling -- because in the Pacific Northwest, knowing when and how to pour is just as important as the mix itself.

Mike Patterson
Owner & Founder
Third-generation Whatcom County resident with over 20 years of hands-on concrete experience. Mike founded Bellingham Concrete Contractors in 2009 after years of working alongside his father and grandfather in the trades. His deep understanding of Pacific Northwest soil conditions, drainage challenges, and weather patterns has shaped the company's reputation for concrete work that lasts.

Operations Manager
With 15+ years in concrete construction, Sarah joined the team in 2013 and has been instrumental in scaling operations from residential-only to full commercial capabilities.
